Tallships Challenge™ Muskegon's events will be held at various locations around Muskegon's downtown waterfront district.  Most events will take place at Muskegon County's Heritage Landing and other locations within close walking distance.

In addition to the current facilities at the park, the community is currently in the process of developing a commercial / recreational deep water port facility on location that will host the Tallships Challenge® event and cruise ship visits.

Heritage Landing is well suited and time tested for holding major festivals attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors.

Annually, in June and July this impressive park  provides the venue for the Summer Celebration.  The  10-day musical and entertainment spectacular attracts people from across the state for top name entertainment.  The 2001 line up includes Ray Charles, The Temptations, Pointer Sisters, Styx, REO Speedwagon and more.

With carnival rides, music from popular performers, and fireworks displays, Heritage Landing brings excitement to the Muskegon Lake waterfront and showcases Muskegon County's spirit and philosophy of "Catch the Wave!"

This summer brings even more excitement.  In addition to the Tall Ships Challenge event, Unity Christian Music Festival makes its premier the weekend immediately following the Tall Ships event.  Top acts including Tait, Avalon, Tammy Trent, Commissioned, 4 Him will take the stage along with dozens of others to shed light on the lakeshore.
