Muskegon
County Airport is just fifteen minutes from the Heritage
Landing festival site, home of Tallships™ Challenge
Muskegon. Served by United, Midwest and Northwest airlines
Muskegon is easy to get to by air. Taxi and shuttle service
is available from the airport. Rental cars available from
Hertz, Avis and National. From the airport, take Ellis Road
east one mile to Old Grand Haven Road turn (left) north on Old
Grand Haven Road to Business 31, then Business 31 north (left) to
downtown Muskegon and Heritage Landing.
From the north
Mackinaw City, Traverse City,
Ludington
Take US 31 south to
Muskegon to the Business 31 south exit and travel south on
Business 31 into downtown Muskegon and Heritage
Landing festival site, home of Tallships™ Challenge
Muskegon.
From the south
Chicago, Indiana (South Bend,
Gary), Benton Harbor, South Haven
Travel east on I-94 to the
I-196/US31 N exit toward Holland/Muskegon/Grand Rapids.
Continue north on I-196/US31 N
until you hit the US-31 exit just south of Holland (this exit is
on the left side of the road)
Merge left onto US-31 N and travel
north through Holland and Grand Haven up to Muskegon. Exit
to Business US 31 and follow Business 31 north / west (Business 31
will turn into Seaway Drive) to downtown Muskegon and Heritage
Landing festival site, home of Tallships™ Challenge
Muskegon.
From the east
Detroit, Lansing, Grand
Rapids
Travel west on I-96 from Detroit to Lansing and then through
Grand Rapids to Muskegon. At Muskegon I-96 turns into
Business 31.
Stay on this road and follow
directly into downtown Muskegon and the Heritage
Landing festival site, home of Tallships™ Challenge
